HELC offers a child care program of high quality that caters for all the developmental needs of children while embracing an anti-bias perspective in implementation. Our Centre is committed to the application of the multicultural and anti-bias beliefs to daily practice in our early childhood program.  Not only do we provide children the opportunity to develop their potential in social, emotional, physical & cognitive skills appropriate to their age, but we also make the first and foremost priority for helping all children develop a positive attitude towards themselves & others irrespective of race, language, gender, culture and ability.

Our Team

At HELC, we are a strong team of individuals who strive to build strong connections with families and with children. The members of our team have been with the centre for many years with some staff having worked at the centre for over 20 years. It presents a clear picture of the dedication our staff have and the strong bond and comradery that we have a as a team. We believe that having that familiarity, is a way to enhance bonds with families, as parents like to see familiar faces every day.
In our team, we have a variety of skills which we highlight within our program. We strive to better the skills of our young people, to enhance the learning of the children in our care and to build a better future for them. As a team, we believe that working together is an important factor to build a strong and safe environment for our children. We strive to further build on the skills we have to further enhance our ability to support one another, as well as our families and children. It is important to our team that the bond we share with families and children reflects in every area of our centre and we pride ourselves on the strong partnership we hold with families.
